Governor Balochistan, Quetta Corps Commander pay tribute to Christian martyrs

A Christmas ceremony was held in honour of martyrs of the Balochistan Christian community, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Governor Balochistan Jafar Khan Mandokhel and Corps Commander Quetta attended the ceremony held in honour of Christian martyrs.
Special guests paid rich tribute to Christian martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country and nation.
Governor Balochistan and Corps Commander appreciated the solidarity and cooperation of all religious communities with the Pakistan Army
Governor Balochistan and Corps Commander also met with members of the Christian community and extended Christmas greetings.
Special guests called religious harmony and national unity the real strength of Pakistan at the Christmas ceremony.
On this occasion, Pastor Asif Jan said that the sacrifices of our martyrs are the strong foundation of national unity.
The pastor called the ceremony an excellent opportunity to remember the great services of the martyrs.
The Pakistan Army and the provincial government are committed to national unity and the protection and development of citizens.
Meanwhile, the Balochistan government has launched a development program in collaboration with the civil administration, Pakistan Army and FC Balochistan. 
Work is underway at a fast pace on development projects in Balochistan under the Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI). 
Timely identification and approval of delayed projects is being implemented through district committees as per public needs. 
As many as 969 development projects in 35 districts of Balochistan have been included under BSDI. 
Development projects worth Rs8,705 million are under completion in the districts of FC Balochistan North. 
About 44 projects have been completed in different districts of FC Balochistan North, work orders for 75 are on, while 90 projects are moving towards completion at a fast pace. 
The Chief Minister of Balochistan and Corps Commander Quetta have issued instructions to complete all projects in both phases by May 30, 2026. 
Effective monitoring of the quality, transparency and timely completion of projects is being carried out through the Program Implementation Unit (PIU).
Local people expressed satisfaction over BSDI projects and appreciated the efforts of the institutions.
According to the people, the development process has been given a new dimension with the cooperation of the civil administration, Pakistan Army and FC Balochistan.
BSDI has become a new and successful model of transparent, effective and timely development planning in Balochistan.
