Federal Minister National Food Security and Research Rana Tanveer Hussain said on Sunday that the former spymaster Faiz Hameed used to make plans for the former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Speaking to the media at Sheikhupura, he said both Faiz and Imran were partners in crime. “Whosoever collaborated with Imran will be brought to justice,” he added.

He further said that after Faiz, there would also be a hearing of a May 9 case against Imran.

The minister claimed that neither the PTI founder nor his party had any future.

He accused the former prime minister of following the agenda of India and Israel.

Tanveer also threatened Afghanistan with more strikes in case the Taliban regime in the country did not rein in the terrorists. “We have conveyed this to the Taliban in clear and unambiguous terms that they must control the terrorists.”

“India is using the Afghan soil for carrying out terrorist attacks in Pakistan,” the minister added.

Also on Sunday, Prime Minister Youth Programme Chairman Rana Mashhood said that the court-martial of former ISI chief Faiz Hameed marked the beginning of a new chapter in the country.

Speaking to the media at the conclusion of the 13th Inter-School Gymnastic Championship, he said that action had begun against those unleashing propaganda against Pakistan, and such more verdicts like the one given against Faiz would be given in days to come.

He asserted that those who were involved in the May 9 incidents of violence and those who had been receiving funds from abroad to manage the affairs of their party must also be held accountable. “Time has come to nab the supporters of India,” Mashhood said, adding that the social media accounts involved in spreading hate against the state institutions were being controlled by the people in India and Israel. “Those indulging in propaganda against Pakistan will have no place to live in the country.”
