Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) arranges Pakistan Suer League (PSL) road show in New York on Sunday to highlight the importance of the PSL worldwide, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi, Pakistan Ambassador to US Saeed Sheikh, Shan Masood, Saud Shakeel, Salman Ali Agha, Saim Ayub, Abrar Ahmad, Faheem Ashraf attended the ceremony.
PSL International Roadshows is part of Pakistan Cricket Board’s Global Strategy which is aimed at highlighting the commercial importance of the Pakistan Super League.
Addressing the ceremony, PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi said young talent gets a chance to polish their skills in PSL. He said national cricketers have a lot of potential. Naqvi said PCB and PSL administration were working for the betterment of cricket.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Raza Naqvi has announced that the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will commence on March 26.
PCB chief said the final will be played on May 3. The deadline for the submission of bids by the two new franchises has been set for December 22. The auction for the teams was originally scheduled for December 15. Naqvi expressed his determination to make the PSL the number one league in the world. He said: “My vision is to make the PSL the number one league.”
Naqvi added that every possible step would be taken to improve the league. He said substantial investment is being made in cricket development. He also invited investors seeking information to meet PSL CEO Salman Naseer. The entire process of team bidding will be conducted transparently, maintained the PCB chief.
On this occasion, former PCB chairman Ramiz Raja said the PSL is an excellent model for young cricketers. He added that the league tests players’ temperament and provides young cricketers with opportunities to learn from established stars.
Pakistan Super League CEO Salman Naseer was also present at the ceremony. Addressing the ceremony, Salman Naseer said when it comes to cricket, the fans get crazy. Salman Naseer said PSL has become a means of identifying Pakistan cricket. He said countries were coming closer to each other through sports.
