The dead body a 13-year-old boy was recovered from crop field, carrying severe marks of dog bite.

The incident reported in Lal Bakhsh Bhatti village, in the limits of Khara Police, in Khairpur district. Villagers spotted the dead body, apparently seemed to have been killed by stray dogs. Identity of the boy, appeared to be 13-year-old, could not be ascertained yet. The police transported the dead body to Civil Hospital Khairpur for autopsy and identification.

The police said that there are severe marks of dog bite on the body but cause of the death could only be ascertained after postmortem.

Further investigation is underway.
