Police arrest two alleged terrorists in Karachi after encounter

Karachi police have arrested two terrorists belonging to the Zahid Ladla group after an encounter in the Rangiwara area of Lyari, Karachi, reported 24NewsHd TV channel Monday.

According to details, Chakiwara police raided the area after getting the information of the presence of the alleged terrorists.

The police were involved in an encounter with the accused upon their arrival and arrested the two terrorists.

According to SSP City Shabir Ahmad Sethar, the arrested accused were involved in the Lyari gang war.

He said the accused had launched a grenade attack on an under-construction building in Bahar Colony on February 10.

The arrested accused got injured during the encounter and have been shifted to Civil Hospital for treatment.

The police have also recovered hand grenade and arms from their possession.

Those who got arrested have been identified as 25-year-old Noshad son of Ghulam Qadir and 20-year-old Sharif son of Abdul Majeed.
