Foreign players arrive in Karachi for PSL 8

South African leg-spinner Imran Tahir Tuesday arrived in Karachi for the eight edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Imran Tahir has joined Karachi Kings. The arrival of foreign players in Pakistan for the PSL 8 continues.

Moreover, the foreign players of Islamabad United have also started arriving in Karachi to participate in PSL 8.

New Zealand’s Colin Munro and England’s Gus Atkinson have reached Karachi.

Gus Atkinson, upon his arrival in Karachi, said that he felt proud to be in Pakistan for the PSL. He added that he had heard a lot of praise for Islamabad United.

New Zealand’s Colin Munro said that he felt good to be in Pakistan again for the PSL. He added that he was looking forward to the start of the matches.

Three more foreign players of Islamabad United including Dawson, Paul Stirling and Tom Curran will also arrive in Karachi today to participate in the PSL 8.

It is to be noted here that the first match of PSL 8 was played on the evening of Monday last between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans in Multan Stadium after an extravagant opening ceremony.

Lahore Qalandars started their title defence in style by defeating Multan Sultans by one run in a thriller at Multan Cricket Stadium.

The first match of the PSL 8 was a repeat of the last edition’s final with the same result as Qalandars handed the home side first-ever defeat at its home ground.
