Rana Sanaullah, wife given ‘clean chit’ in land case
The department of anti-corruption on Tuesday gave a clean chit to Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and his wife in a land case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The department also recommended action against three employees of district council Chakwal.
The report compiled by the department officials said that former registrar Kalar Kahar Maqbool Hussain, Shabbir Ahmad and Sher Ali made registries in violation of the rules and regulations.
The report also stated that the three-member joint investigation team (JIT) failed to find the concrete evidence against the interior minister.
Similarly, the report said that the allegation that Sanaullah had paid less fee for the registry of the land could not be proved either.
