In-laws arrested for poisoning woman to death in Lahore

Police on Friday arrested the husband, mother-in-law, father-in-law and brother-in-law for killing a woman after giving her poison in Sabzazar area of Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Police sources said that the deceased woman was identified as Rimha who was mother of two children and married into the family.

The sources further said that heirs of Rimsha accused her in-laws for killing their daughter with poison.

The father of dead woman Jamil said that she was treated badly by her in-laws. He husband Imran, brother-in-law Junaid, father-in-law Rashid and mother in-law continuously tortured and abused her.

Soon after receiving the report of the incident, police team reached the site and shifted the dead boy of Rimsha to Mayo Hospital for autopsy.

Police sources said that after receiving post-mortem report they will start legal proceedings against the accused.

Police said that they already received a petition from the father of Rimha to file murder case against the accused.
