Smart farming era begins as COAS, CM Maryam unveil high-tech agri solutions

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz visited the Strategic Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) Green Corporate Initiative, where the CM inaugurated the Smart Agri Farm and Agri Research Facility Centre, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.

The visit was attended by high-ranking government officials, including federal and provincial ministers. During the tour, participants were given an overview of modern agricultural machinery being utilised to enhance the growth of the agriculture sector.

According to the channel report, under the Green Corporate Initiative, farmers will have access to modern agricultural machinery on easy rental terms instead of making expensive purchases.

Additionally, 25 Green Agri Malls have already been established across Punjab, with a target of 250 such centres nationwide by the end of the year.

The report also highlighted the launch of the Smart Agri Farm, which aims to train local farmers and contribute to 95% of the country's agricultural development.

On this occasion, COAS General Asim Munir and CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz expressed their satisfaction with the progress of the Green Corporate Initiative, reaffirming their commitment to agricultural development in Pakistan.
