The Excise and Taxation authorities have placed Rs2,000 tax for the registration of the 2000cc vehicles in Karachi, reported 24ewsHD TV channel on Friday. 

Motor vehicle lifetime token has been fixed at Rs500. Also, if the vehicle owner will not register his motorbike then he will be fined Rs500 over violation.

However, the commercial vehicle registration fee has been fixed at Rs1,000.
