Bilawal vows to build three million houses for homeless

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Saturday kicking off the election campaign in southern Punjab unveiled a comprehensive economic agenda to tackle historic challenges facing Pakistan, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a PPP rally in Bahawalpur, he pledged to double salaries, provide three hundred units of free electricity, establish an IT university in Bahawalpur, and construct hospitals offering free cardiac treatment in the region.  

 He reminisced about the visionary leadership of his grandfather, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who initiated the journey towards economic development with the slogan "Roti, Kapra, Makan."

Highlighting the pressing economic challenges facing Pakistan, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari asserted that the nation is confronting historic economic woes.  

However, Bilawal emphasized that the current economic crisis demands innovative solutions. He pledged to drag the nation out of the economic crises if people would elect PPP for the ruling.  

The energetic gathering resonated with the iconic slogan, "Jeay Bhutto," as Bilawal Bhutto Zardari began outlining the party's roadmap for the upcoming polls.

Ensuring gender inclusivity, Bilawal vowed to provide property rights to women, stating that these promises are not mere rhetoric but grounded in action.

He vowed to construct three million houses for the homeless across the country. We are already planning to build two million houses in the Sindh province to uplift the masses,” he added.

The PPP leader pledged to regularize all informal settlements, grant ownership rights to residents, and tackle poverty and inflation through a comprehensive strategy that included welfare programs for women and the facilitation of employment opportunities.
