Karachi-style murder: Sacked body found near Nala Lai in Rawalpindi

Police found a sacked body in the Nala Lai area in Pir Wadhai police precincts on Wednesday.

According to police sources, residents alerted authorities after spotting a suspicious sack lying near the bank of Nala Lai. Upon receiving the information, police officials, along with a forensic team and investigation officers, rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area.

The body, which had been packed in a sack, was shifted to a nearby hospital for postmortem examination to determine the identity of the deceased and the cause of death.

Police said initial evidence was collected from the scene, and statements of eyewitnesses were recorded. An investigation has been launched, and further action is being taken in light of the information provided by witnesses.

Authorities stated that efforts are underway to identify the victim and trace those responsible for the killing.
