Yasir Hussain objects to Esra Bilgic as QMobile brand ambassador
Actor Yasir Hussain, who previously raised his voice over PTV airing Dirilis Ertugrul has now criticised Pakistani mobile phone company ‘QMobile’ for making Turkish actress ‘Esra Bilgic’ as their brand ambassador.
Taking to Instagram he shared the news and wondered why Bilgic has been made a brand ambassador for a Pakistani brand.
Hussain asks, "Don't you think a Pakistani brand should have a Pakistani ambassador? Not Indian or Turkish?"
He goes on to question, "Is Mahira, Saba, Sonya, Minal, Aiman, Amar, Zara, Haniya, Sana, Yumna, Armeena, Sara, Hira... anyone not worthy enough to be a brand ambassador for a Pakistani brand?"
He ended saying: "Support Pakistani actors. Pakistan Zindabad," although he did manage to explain why wife Iqra Aziz's name wasn't in the list, saying, "I didn't take Iqra's name because she is already a mobile brand ambassador."
Following are the mixed reactions of people on Twitter:
I'm like honestly fed up of all these Pakistani actors thinking they are the shit. No, you are not. If you are going crazy thinking why Esra Bilgic is becoming the brand ambassador for a Pak mobile company- why don't you work your ass off and make Pakistan proud internationally?— Anita Malik (@anita9218) July 13, 2020

Look at the shit content that you produce. Look at the content that they produce.
Going with a thousand years old storyline in every drama and expecting to grab every opportunity?
Grow up, improve and get featured. Simple! #YasirHussain pic.twitter.com/OuJs8ttlu8
No other nation in the world is so quick to appease foreigners and replace their own people. These are the same people who will later say, Pakistan mein bohot talent hai but will never utilize it. It’s sad that they don’t recognize their own deep rooted prejudice and racism.— 🔅 (@pkpopculture) July 13, 2020

Yasir Hussain needs to stop playing the nationalism and patriotism card. Sick of his idiotic views on international actors getting jobs.— 《Heer 》 (@springb1ossom) July 14, 2020
