Balochistan govt misses revenue target
The Balochistan government has failed to achieve the revenue target, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The budget documents stated that the provincial government was to achieve Rs34.75b revenue target but It got Rs29.95 billion.
An income of Rs15.14 billion was generated from non-tax sources instead of the assigned amount of Rs13.63 billion.
On the other hand, No amount was received as a bonus for the lease extension of Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) whereas Rs55 billion were expected.
The total income of Balochistan was estimated to be Rs103.39 billion in the last fiscal year.
