Death toll rises to 85 as 6 more militants killed in Operation Shaaban

Joint operations by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps Balochistan and police are continuing under Operation Shaban, with security sources reporting that six more militants have been killed during the latest actions, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

According to security sources, forces are maintaining sustained operations against militants in the area through coordinated air and ground action.

The sources said the ongoing campaign has inflicted significant losses on militant groups.

Security sources confirmed that four additional militants were killed during the latest phase of the operation, bringing the total number of militants killed in Operation Shaban to 85.

The sources further stated that since 5 July, a total of 123 militants have been killed during Operation Shaban and other intelligence-based operations carried out in Balochistan.

Security sources said Operation Shaban will continue until all militants operating in the province have been eliminated.

Naqvi says joint security operations to continue until militancy is eliminated

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has praised the security forces for their latest achievements during Operation Shaaban, describing the success of the joint campaign as commendable.

In a statement, the interior minister said the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps and other security agencies had achieved remarkable results through their coordinated operations. He said their professionalism and commitment deserved appreciation.

Naqvi stated that the nation holds the security forces' effective operations against militants in high regard. He added that the forces had successfully foiled the militants' hostile plans through sustained and coordinated action.

The interior minister reaffirmed the government's commitment to continuing joint security operations, saying the campaign would continue until militancy had been eliminated.
