Mohsin Naqvi meets FBI chief to enhance cooperation in anti-terrorisms operations
US to work with Pakistan for protection of regional interests in region: FBI director
Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi visited the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) headquarters in Washington and met with its director, Kash Patel, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Both agreed to further enhance cooperation in anti-terrorism operations, stop funding of terrorism and increase collaboration to investigate cybercrimes.
Speaking on the occasion, Patel said that the US valued Pakistan’s support for the protection of its regional interests, and both countries would continue to cooperate in this regard in the future as well.
He further said that the US’s partnership with Pakistan was of great importance and both countries were looking forward to more achievements in the future.
The FBI director said that he had a detailed discussion with Pakistan’s interior minister on the procurement of rresources andspecial training of the law-enforcement agencies' personnel in order to make the fight against terrorism more effective.
