Woman drowns near Hawksbay Turtle Beach in Karachi

A woman lost her life after drowning in the sea near Hawksbay Turtle Beach in Karachi on Monday, rescue officials said.

According to rescue sources, the incident occurred near Hut No. N-123, where the woman reportedly drowned while bathing in the water.

Divers launched a search operation and recovered her body from the sea.

The deceased was identified as Kanwal Javed.

Her body was shifted to a hospital for legal formalities and will be handed over to her family after the completion of medico-legal procedures.
