FM Bilawal reaches Tehran on maiden trip

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari reached Tehran Tuesday on a two-day official maiden visit to the neighbouring country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He will also meet Iran’s President in this trip.

FM Bilawal met with his Iranian counterpart where both sides discussed matters related to Pakistan-Iran’s cooperation in various fields including energy.
Pertinent to note that Bilawal Bhutto met with Iranian Foreign Minister Dr Hossein Amir Abdollahian on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum on May 26.
FM Bhutto reaffirmed Pakistan’s desire to strengthen Pak-Iran fraternal ties in all areas of mutual interest and emphasised on vast scope in bilateral trade and economic cooperation through various institutional mechanisms and innovative ways to identify new sectors.
Bilawal underscored the importance of earliest completion of border markets to improve livelihood in the border region.
The Foreign Minister appreciated Iran’s steadfast support for the Kashmir cause, especially at the Supreme Leader level.
