2 cops martyred, 3 terrorists killed as attack foiled at police check post in Taunsa

Suicide attack on police check post was foiled in Taunsa district of Punjab on Sunday as security forces neutralized 3 terrorists, however 2 police personnel were martyred, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

According to police, terrorists rammed a vehicle loaded with explosives into the main gate of the check-post, resulting in a massive explosion that destroyed the gate and security wall.

Several nearby houses were damaged in the blast. The search operation was underway in the area.
