PTI plans to bring 10,000 people outside Adiala Jail on Tuesday

Aleema Khan, sister of former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, said on Sunday that at the request of the party, Tehreek-e-Tahafuz-e-Ayeen-e-Pakistan (TTAP) chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai had agreed to bring 10,000 people outside the Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi on Tuesday so that pressure could be built on the government to end prolonged isolation of the PTI founder, who is presently incarcerated in the jail, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a tweet, she said that there would be a gathering of people outside the jail on June 16 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

The purpose of the gathering, she went on to say, was to pressurize the government to shift Imran to Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad where he could have his eye checkup, and that, too, in the presence of his family members and family physicians.

Aleema said that the rights of a former prime minister and a political prisoner must be respected.
