Four members of family gunned down over land dispute in Bannu

In an unfortunate incident, four members of the same family were killed due to firing over a land dispute in the jurisdiction of Domail police station in Bannu, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Soon after learning about the incident, Rescue 1122 staffers rushed to the spot and shifted those seriously wounded to a hospital where doctors pronounced them dead.

FIR of woman’s murder lodged in Jacobabad

On the other hand, in an important development in the case of murder of a woman only a few hours before her marriage, police in Jacobabad on Sunday registered an FIR of the incident.

Five people, including would-be bride named Jannat Bibi’s brother, were nominated in the case.

Those nominated in the FIR were accused of storming the house of the woman in an attempt to kidnap her.

Police arrest man for murdering his wife in Mehar 

Also on Sunday, police in Mehar arrested a man for murdering his pregnant wife for ‘honour’.

The woman was the mother of six children.
