Three killed, 10 injured in different incidents of firing in Karachi
Three people were killed and 10 were injured in 13 different incidents of firing late at night in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to police, women and young children were also among the injured.
Among the slain 35-year-old Shakeel was killed in a firing incident near Chappal Market in Banaras while 32-year-old Yasin was killed in firing by unknown assailants at Qasba Mor in Orangi Town and 45-year-old Shahid killed in firing near Sameera Chowk in Safoora.
Further, 10 people were injured in the incidents of bullets coming from unknown assailants including 34-year-old Yasir in Orangi Town, 65-year-old Abdullah in Sector 7A in Orangi Town, 5-year-old Irfan in North Karachi, 35-year-old Maliar Bibi in North Karachi Rashidabad, 65-year-old Raham Bibi in Sohrab Goth, 40-year-old Irshad Bibi in Azam Basti in Mahmudabad, 10-year-old Shushant in Shah Latif, 17-year-old Aafia in Bilal Colony in Korangi, 35-year-old Shaukat in Orangi Town Haryana Colony and 13-year-old Abdul Basit.
Dead and injured were shifted to different hospitals.
Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar took notice and sought a detailed report from Additional IG Karachi.
