Former finance minister and PMLN leader Miftah Ismail said that six million people became unemployed in the Imran Khan led government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He alleged that PTI government has been leaving behind an atom bomb in the economy. Miftah criticized Imran Khan’s statement that the premier did not come to power to check the rates of the tomatoes and potatoes.
He reminded Imran Khan that a premier comes to power to set the economy, defence and foreign policy. He claimed that the PTI government has been breaking the deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Miftah Ismael said that the current account deficit was setting a new record.
Former Sindh governor Muhammad Zubair questioned about the 10 million jobs that were supposed to be provided to the people of Pakistan as per the PTI manifesto.
He also lashed out about the PTI promise in the manifesto to provide five million houses to the needy people. Muhammad Zubair said that PMLN brought investment in the country during its era.
He claimed that PM deliberately decreased the POL prices after increasing it for Rs12.
Zubair reminded PM Khan that it was the responsibility of the incumbent government to ensure control of the prices of commodities.
Earlier in the day, PMLN Punjab chapter President Rana Sanaullah said that PMLN has instructed party officials and workers to remain ready to reach D-Chowk and instructions have been given to the provincial, divisional and district officials.
