People are running away from Imran Khan, says Kh Saad
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique Monday blamed Imran Khan for lying and added that people were running away from him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During a media talk outside an accountability court in Lahore, the PML-N leader said ‘some people’ began to be considered bad by him [Imran Khan] when they became neutral.
“We [the opposition] are going to caste our vote, whereas, Imran Khan is gathering people for public meetings,” Saad said and appealed to the Lahore High Court (LHC) to take notice of that.
He also accused the government of causing a rumpus in the Parliament Lodges.
“Imran Khan knows he is going to be ousted. He should muster support through votes instead of gathering people,” Saad said.
“The PML-N wants a new mandate. It is not impossible now to wait for another one-and-a-half years,” he added.
Saad also stressed the need for an end to political revenge. “Accountability is the job of accountability institutions. Giving justice is the job of courts,” he pointed out.
Criticising the government for creating so much mess in the country, the PML-N stalwart said: “It will now take time to fix things.”
