PIA aims to start flight operation to Australia from April 22
Pakistan International Airlines on Monday aimed to start the direct flight operation to Australia from April 22, during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
PIA Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Air Marshal Arshad Malik visited Australian Ambassador to Pakistan Joanne Frederiksen and discussed with her the issues related to the start of a direct flight operation between the two countries.
As per report, one flight will initially be operated from Lahore to Sydney, gradually increasing to two weekly.
The CEO of PIA praised the efforts made by the Australian ambassador in this regard.
Joanne Frederiksen said that the bilateral ties between the two countries will be further strengthened with the launch of the direct flight operation.
