The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Gujrat has arrested yet another member of a ring of human smugglers connected to the boat wreckage incident off the shores of Italy a few weeks ago, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.  

Abdullah, brother of key suspect in the case Afaq, would receive the amounts from people for sending them abroad, and then send that money to his brother in Libya. 

At least 59 people people died, including some children, when a wooden sailing boat carrying migrants crashed against rocks on the southern Italian coast on February 26.

The vessel had set sail from Turkiye several days ago with migrants from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran and several other countries, and crashed in stormy weather near Steccato di Cutro, a seaside resort on the eastern coast of Calabria.
