Islamabad police put on red alert

The police in Islamabad has all of a sudden put on a red alert on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel, quoting sources.
Sources in police said all the policemen have been directed to report to their respective police stations.
Anti-riot unit personnel have been supplied with tear-gas shells, the sources said, adding over 1,000 cops have been ordered to remain on alert.
