Bilawal Bhutto calls for defeating terrorism with unity
Praises army's bravery: Inaugurates portal of Information Department Sindh: Highlights job and water issues
Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari strongly condemned the Jaffer Express attack in Bolan, Balochistan, urging all issues to be resolved through political dialogue.
He made these remarks while addressing a ceremony in Karachi on Friday after inaugurating the Sindh Information Department’s digital portal, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
During his speech, Bilawal Bhutto praised the Pakistan Army’s bravery in successfully foiling the terrorist attack on Jaffer Express, stating, “We salute the armed forces for their successful operation.”
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reiterated that the PPP believes in positive politics and that every issue must be resolved through political means.
Speaking on Sindh’s challenges, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto highlighted that the biggest demand of the province is employment.
The PPP chairman also emphasised equitable water distribution, noting that CM Sindh has been the loudest voice on this issue.
He demanded that water resources be distributed fairly under the 1991 Accord, ensuring agricultural development and progress for underprivileged areas.
Bilawal appreciated government efforts in controlling inflation and stressed the need for national unity against terrorism, stating, “We must all stand together to defeat terrorism.”
Addressing the same event, CM Murad Ali Shah said the portal was designed to connect job seekers with employers on the same platform.
CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah also stated that by bringing opportunities and challenges onto one platform, Sindh’s development will accelerate.
The CM announced that the Sindh Public Service Commission’s website will also be linked to the portal, ensuring greater access to job opportunities for young professionals.
