Dancing in all private, govt colleges banned in Punjab

Punjab Higher Education Department banned dancing in all private and government colleges in the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

In this regard, instructions have been issued to all nine directors of colleges in Punjab.

According to Higher Education Department, complaints were received about teachers and students dancing to Indian songs at fun fairs and sports galas in colleges.

Educational institutions are sacred places where education is imparted. 

All directors of colleges should issue special instructions to the heads of the colleges under their management.

There should be no unethical behavior and conduct in any college. 

If a complaint is received from any college, action will be taken against the head of the concerned college and deputy director.
