Ex-cop awarded death sentence twice for murdering sub-inspector in Gujranwala

Anti-terrorism court of Gujranwala has sentenced convict former constable to death twice in case of killing a sub-inspector, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Death sentence ordered for Muhammad Younis under sections of murder and terrorism.
A fine of Rs1 million was also imposed on the convict, and an additional 6 months' imprisonment was ordered for non-payment.
Accused Muhammad Younis was transferred to jail.
Sub-inspector Shafiq was shot dead by constable Muhammad Younis on September 15, 2023 at Khayali police station.
