Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon on Saturday demanded Pakistan Customs officials to return Sindh Information Department’s vehicle they had impounded claiming it was non-custom duty paid and also apologize for that, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a tweet, he said that the vehicle was impounded despite the fact that the information department owned it and that all its documents were shown.

He further said that the car had been purchased from the Indus Motor Company’s official outlet. “Such an attitude towards the Sindh government’s department is intolerable,” he said, adding, “Pakistan Customs should immediately return the car and also seek an apology for its act.”

The vehicle had been impounded by the Customs officials on March 12.
