Punjab schools to remain shut till May 23: Murad Raas
Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas said on Friday that all schools of the province will remain closed until May 23, 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

All Public and Private Schools of Punjab will remain closed till May 23, 2021 due to COVID 19 situation. A review meeting will be held on May 18th, 2021. Please make sure to follow SOPs issued by the Government.
In a tweet, Murad Raas said in this connection a meeting would be held on May 18 to review the situation.
He urged the people to comply with the Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs) as issued by the government.
On May 8 last, the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) had decided to extend the closure of educational institutions to May 23. The NCOC had decided that in view of the ongoing disease trends, educational institutes which were earlier closed till 17th May will continue to remain closed till 23rd May.
