Man takes Fly Jinnah to court for not serving him meatless food

A man in Lahore on Wednesday filed a Rs12 million suit for damages in a consumer court against Fly Jinnah for refusing to serve him food in place of meat and torturing him when he protested against the airline staff’s behaviour, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In his complaint, Waqas Anjum said that he was travelling from Karachi to Lahore on board Fly Jinnah’s flight.
He further said that since doctors had advised him not to eat meat, he asked the airline staff to serve him any other food except meat, but they did not do so. “And when I registered a protest, I was beaten up at the airport.”
The court fixed the case’s hearing for May 27.
