Dananeer Mobeen calls out ‘cult mentality’ in showbiz
Pakistani actress Dananeer Mobeen has opened up about friendships in the entertainment industry, revealing why she chooses to stay away from celebrity groups and “cult mentality” despite being surrounded by fame and constant public attention.
During a conversation with Fuchsia Magazine, the actress spoke candidly about maintaining personal boundaries and keeping her life simple among the chaos of showbiz.
While discussing friendships within the industry, Dananeer shared that she prefers focusing on her work instead of becoming part of circles or camps.
The actress explained that she has set very clear boundaries for herself because she never wants to get trapped in the debate of who belongs to which group.

According to her, she does not believe in “grouping” or “cult mentality” and prefers living peacefully by concentrating on her career and personal life.
Dananeer added that she likes to complete her work and return home instead of getting involved in industry politics.
She also shared that she already has her own close friends and a separate personal life.

While speaking about meaningful connections, the actress showered praise on superstar Mahira Khan and actress Maya Ali, calling them true “girls’ girls” who have supported her both privately and publicly.
Dananeer revealed that the encouragement she received from Mahira and Maya genuinely made a difference in her journey. She explained that private support always matters, but publicly standing up for someone and openly appreciating their work carries even greater value.

The actress said that when influential celebrities openly support someone, it reflects genuine respect for that person’s talent.
