Police arrest key member of Cocaine Queen Pinky’s network

Police on Thursday achieved an important breakthrough in the case of Anmol alias Pinky, a notorious drug dealer, who had been arrested in Karachi on Tuesday, when they also arrested a key member of her gang, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Police took Zeeshan into custody during a raid in Gulistan-e-Johar area of the city and started interrogating him.

Investigation officials informed that Zeeshan would look after Pinky’s bank accounts and her other financial matters.

In order to purchase drugs, payments were made through online apps.

The officials explained that Fayyaz Communication Franchise was used for making payments and receiving the amounts.

The investigators said they had obtained details of Zeeshan’s bank accounts and online apps.

LEAs launch hunt for Pinky’s brother

The law-enforcement agencies (LEAs), which are presently grilling Anmol alias Pinky, a notorious drug dealer, who had been arrested in Karachi on Tuesday, are now looking for her brother Shaukat.

Investigation officials said on Thursday that Shaukat’s criminal record had been obtained.

They informed that an FIR had been registered against Shaukat at Karachi’s Boat Basin police station for supplying drugs.

The six-member gang consisted of one female and five males, the officials elaborated.

In a major development, Rana Ikram, a former Lahore police officer and Pinky’s husband, too, has been summoned for questioning.

On the other hand, sources said that as per the modus operandi of supplying drugs, which Pinky told interrogators, an agent of the gang would choose a specific street or any other place for the delivery of drugs.

And in order to evade arrest, sources informed, the agent would not tell the buyer the exact place from where he could receive drugs.

A rider would place drugs under a rock at a deserted place and give the buyer its location.

Sources said that Pinky would also supply drugs to students as well as people living in posh areas.

Pinky’s another audio surfaces

On the other hand, investigators have decided to conduct forensic of an audio in which Pinky can be heard telling her customers that the use of beer with cocaine is hazardous, and that they should drink more water in case their condition deteriorates.

She also lists to her customers the benefits of the cocaine she has produced herself.

Panic, fear grips inmates of Garden area flat

Residents of the flat in Garden area of the city, which was shown as Pinky’s address in the FIR registered against her, are now scared.

There are reports that the name of the building housing the flat has been erased.

On the other hand, residents insist they have never seen the woman.

A court in Karachi on Wednesday granted to the police three-day physical remand of Anmol alias Pinky, a notorious female drug dealer, who had been arrested in Karachi on Tuesday.

Police had filed a review appeal in sessions court in Karachi-South.

Pinky's name had first surfaced in 2022

In yet another development, it has emerged that Riaz Baloch, brother of Pinky, had told Lahore police in 2022 that his sister also supplied drugs.

Over one kilo of narcotics had been recovered from Baloch at that time. However, Pinky had managed to flee from the spot.

The woman is now expected to be handed over to a federal investigation agency.

Another issue for the drug dealer as now it has emerged that she was also nominated in a murder case.

In yet another development, it has emerged that before her arrest, Pinky recorded a voice message in which she had appointed her successor.

She had informed all her clients that in case they heard her voice message, they should be sure that she had been arrested.

She had asked them to interact with her successor.

DIG West appointed new inquiry officer

Also on Wednesday, SSP South Mehroze Ali was replaced by DIG West Irfan Ali Baloch as head of an inquiry team in the case and ordered to submit report within three days.

The team will record the statements of three police officials and two lady constables, who had been suspended following reports of a VIP treatment given to Pinky at police station as well as in court.

It will try to ascertain why the drug dealer was not handcuffed when she was produced in court.

The team will also examine the CCTV footage of the Garden police station, which will help it find out where and in what condition Pinky was kept in jail.

The attitude of the suspect with the cops will also be made part of the report.

It also emerged on Wednesday that wrong home address of the drug dealer was given in the FIR registered against her.

It was written in the FIR that Pinky was arrested from a flat in Garden area of the city.

The fact of the matter is that a family has been living in that flat on rent for the last eight years, and it does not know the drug dealer.

The family, which is in great mental stress, has asked the police to tell them why they mentioned their address in the FIR.

On the other hand, after learning about Pinki’s arrest, the flat owner has asked the family to vacate the flat.

In a sharp contrast to the treatment given to other criminals, the treatment given to Pinki was exactly the opposite, as she was not handcuffed when she was produced in court and kept loitering on the court premises without any fear with a policeman walking behind her.

She had a bottle of mineral water in her hands, was wearing coloured glasses, and her face was covered with a mask.

The drug dealer, from whose possession more than one kilo of cocaine, 15 capsules and weapons were recovered, was most wanted by the police in 10 cases and was an absconder in several of them.

Meanwhile, Pinky has made startling revelations to the police during an interrogation.

She has told the police that she started supplying drugs to people, mostly boys and girls, aged between 16 and 20 years, 13 years ago.

The narcotics dealer disclosed that she had fled to Lahore, where she secretly kept running a laboratory.

She also revealed that she married a police officer in Lahore.

Pinki told the police that people associated with the showbiz industry were among her customers.

On Tuesday, police and an intelligence agency, in a joint operation, arrested a notorious female drug dealer in Karachi.

According to the police, Anmol, alias Pinky, was running a vast and organised network of supplying drugs, including cocaine, to people, including students and influentials, in different areas of the city.

The police stated that Pinky was most wanted and was an absconder in dozens of cases.

“One pistol along with rounds, cocaine worth millions of rupees, chemicals and other drugs were recovered from her possession,” the Force said, adding that in order to protect her gang from being busted, Pinky would use female riders.
