Fire breaks out in Cooperative Market in Karachi, 90 shops gutted
According to the report, the fire was initially broken out in a shop and then engulfed other 90 shops located in the market.
There are more than 500 shops in the affected building. The shopkeepers were taking out their leftover material from the shops with their own help.
The shopkeepers said that the fire brigade was called on time but it arrived late. The fire brigade succeeded to control the fire after a three-hour-long struggle.
Karachi Administrator Murtaza Wahab said that the incident of fire will be investigated and the loss of traders will be compensated.
