Prime Minister Imran Khan will convene a meeting of the federal cabinet on Tuesday to approve the appointment of Major General Asif Hussain as DG Pakistan Rangers Punjab.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the cabinet meeting having eight-point agenda would discuss the inflation situation and economic indicators.

The meeting would be chaired by the PM at the Prime Minister's House and would approve the appointment of Major General Muhammad Munir as FC Khyber Pakhtunkhwa South IG and Maj Gen Kamal Anwar Chaudhry as FC Khyber Pakhtunkhwa South (Turbat).

A summary of the appointments of both IGs FC was sent by the Ministry of Interior.

The Cabinet would approve the appointment of Member Electronic Certification Accreditation Council on the summary of the Ministry of IT while the cabinet would also approve the removal of HESCO CEO on the summary of the Ministry of Power Division.
