Cardi B welcomes fourth child amid paternity drama

Cardi B has welcomed her fourth child and her first with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, marking a major new chapter in the rapper’s life and career.

The 33-year-old superstar confirmed the news on Thursday, days after sources revealed the baby boy was born last week with Diggs by her side.

The rapper, who first announced her pregnancy in September, shared a celebratory Instagram post calling the birth part of the “next era” of her life.

Wearing a sleek all-black ensemble in the video, the Bodak Yellow hitmaker reflected on her personal evolution while embracing motherhood once again.

“My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons,” she wrote.

“Starting over is never easy but it’s been so worth it! I brought new music and a new album to the world. A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me.”

Cardi, who already shares three children with ex-husband Offset: Kulture, seven, Wave, four, and Blossom, one, said her newest arrival gives her fresh motivation to “love myself more” so she can continue giving her children the best life possible.

The Grammy winner also told fans she is gearing up for a major career push, including her anticipated Little Miss Drama Tour, which kicks off February 11 in Palm Desert, California. “This next chapter is Me vs. Me,” she said, adding that she is focused on getting her “body right” and “mind right” ahead of tour dates.

“There’s nothing that’s gonna stop me from giving you guys the performance of a lifetime,” she continued. “I’ve learned, I’ve healed, and I’m loving the woman I’ve become.”

Diggs, 31, is also father to an eight-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. His romance with Cardi has unfolded alongside ongoing paternity-related controversies, which have kept the NFL star in headlines throughout the year. Despite that backdrop, the pair appeared united and excited as they welcomed their first child together.

Cardi first shared news of her pregnancy this fall on CBS Mornings, telling host Gayle King: “I’m having a baby with my boyfriend Stefon Diggs. I’ve been putting in all this work while creating a baby. I’m happy — I feel like I’m in a good space.”
