An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Rawalpindi on Tuesday issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Aleema Khan, the sister of former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, in the November 26 protest case and ordered the police to arrest her and produce her in the court tomorrow, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Aleema was to be indicted in the case today.
However, she did not show up prompting judge Amjad Ali Shah to not only reject her plea for exemption from appearance in the court today, but also issue her arrest warrants.
A case had been registered against the former prime minister’s sister at Sadiqabad police station of the city.
