Dr Riaz Ahmad appointed international advisor to Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons
Prof Dr Riaz Ahmad, a distinguished orthopedic surgeon from Rawalpindi Medical University (RMU) and its allied hospitals, former Dean and Head of the Departments of Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, and Trauma, has been appointed international advisor to the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (RCPSG).
A graduate of Rawalpindi Medical University, Dr. Riaz Ahmad pursued advanced professional training and specialization in Pakistan, the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, and Singapore, among other countries.
Beginning his career as a Consultant in 1992, he has dedicated over three decades to patient care, medical education, and research, earning wide respect for his clinical excellence and compassionate service.
Beyond his surgical achievements, Dr. Riaz Ahmad is also a devoted teacher and mentor.
As a supervisor for MS and FCPS programs, he has trained numerous postgraduate students and guided several acclaimed research publications at both national and international levels.
