Sindh govt announces two public holidays

The Sindh government on Tuesday announced two holidays (October 20 and 21) in the province on the occasion of Hindu festival of Diwali.

The holidays have been announced for government employees belonging to the Hindu community.

All government and semi-government departments and institutions will have a holiday on Monday and Tuesday.

Employees of the Hindu community will also have a two-day holiday in schools, colleges, universities and local councils.

Employees will celebrate the festival of Diwali with their loved ones.

The Department of Services, General Administration and Coordination has issued a notification in this regard.
