The Election Commission of Pakistan Wednesday announced that polling will be held in 8 constituencies of the National Assembly (NA) on October 16.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, By-elections in NA-22 Mardan, NA-24 Charsadda, NA-31 Peshawar, NA-45 Kurram, NA-108 Faisalabad, NA-118 Nankana Sahib will also be held on October 16.

Polling in NA-157 Multan, PP-139, PP-209 Khanewal, and PP-241 will now be held on October 16 instead of October 9, the ECP announced.

The ECP has also changed the date of polling for three provincial and one national assembly seats on the orders of the Lahore High Court.
