A rescuer sustained serious injuries in firefighting at Bilal Ganj Market in Lahore late on Tuesday, 24NewsHD TV channel reported. 

Four shops were gutted in the blaze that broke out due to short-circuit.

Rescuers put out the fire while one of the officials sustained injuries. The injured was taken to Mayo Hospital.  Goods worth millions were reduced to ashes.
