Saudi envoy says campaign launched in KSA to help Pakistan’s flood victims

Second consignment of relief goods from Saudi Arabia reaches Pakistan

Nawaf bin Said Al-Maliki, the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, tweeted Wednesday that a campaign had been launched in the Kingdom to help the flood victims of Pakistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

He said that “Popular Saudi Campaign” had been launched the previous day for the aid of the flood victims, adding that the flood situation in Pakistan had been shown through pictures on Twitter.

Meanwhile, the second consignment from Saudi Arabia with relief goods for the flood victims arrived at Karachi Airport on Wednesday.

The Saudi ambassador, the Saudi consul general and the representatives of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) were there at the airport.

The first consignment, containing rations and other relief items for the flood victims, had reached Pakistan last night.
