A 35-year-old police constable was shot dead inside his home in the jurisdiction of Industrial Estate police station in Gujrat, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

The deceased identified as 35-year Babar Shahzad had a dispute with his uncle over a piece of land.

The assassin, who managed to flee from the scene after committing the crime, is still at large.

Hotel waiter killed in Narang Mandi

A man working as a waiter at a hotel in Narang Mandi was killed when some customers smashed bottles of glass on his head following an altercation.

Later, the locals handed over the customers to the police.
