PSHD gets 214 news ambulances for rural health services

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has handed over 214 new ambulances to the Primary and Secondary Health Department (PSHD) for better health facilities in rural areas, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Addressing a function at Nishter Park Sports Complex, the Punjab CM said the efforts for the betterment of the major hospitals and rural health centres are on.
Secretary of Primary and Secondary Health Department Ali Jan gave a briefing to the CM about the rural ambulance service.
The CM formally inaugurated the project by handing over the symbolic key of the ambulance.
The Punjab Chief Minister appreciated the provincial health minister and his team.
Improvement in the health sector is part of our plan and we have started revamping all the major hospitals.
Mohsin Naqvi said under the Integrated Reproductive Maternal Newborn and Child Health (IRMNCH) project, 500 ambulance vehicles are in place for pregnant women, children and disabled people in the villages of Punjab.
