Six terrorists killed, five arrested in Balochistan operations

Six terrorists were killed and five others arrested during joint operations by Balochistan Police, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and other law enforcement agencies in various areas of Balochistan, police said.

According to Balochistan Police, the joint operations were conducted in the Killi Sultan, Azram, Dinar and Gilo areas of Pishin district, as well as other areas of Pishin and Qilla Abdullah districts.

Six terrorists belonging to “Fitna-ul-Hindustan” were killed during the operations, while five others were arrested, police said.

A large cache of weapons was also recovered during the joint operation, according to the police.

Interrogation of the arrested suspects is underway to obtain what police described as vital and sensitive information.

The operation was led by the DIG Zhob Range, the CTD commander and the SSP Pishin, Balochistan Police said.

The law enforcement agencies said they remained committed to continuing operations until the last terrorist belonging to “Fitna-ul-Hindustan” and “Fitna-ul-Khawarij” was eliminated.
