Ahmad Nawaz Sukhera appointed Secretary Cabinet Division

The federal government on Wednesday appointed Ahmad Nawaz Sukhera as Secretary Cabinet Division.
Nawaz Sukhera was earlier performing his duties as Federal Commerce Secretary. Cabinet Division issued a notification.
Sukhera is a grade-22 officer and belonged to Pakistan Administrative Service group and joined the civil service in 1985.

Sukhera did his Bachelor's degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and obtained his Master's degree in Public Administration from Harvard University.
Prior to commerce secretary, he served as Secretary Board of Investment (BoI) and Federal Information Secretary.
The post of Cabinet Division Secretary was vacant after the retirement of the grade-22 officer Marood Afzal.
