Plea filed in IHC seeking Nawaz Sharif’s arrest on return

The Islamabad High Court has fixed hearing of a petition seeking to stop government from issuing the diplomatic passport to PML-N supremo and country’s three-time prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his arrest on his arrival, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The court has fixed the date of hearing on April 18 (Monday). Petitioner Naeem Haider filed a plea in Islamabad High Court through his lawyers.
In his petition, he stated that since Nawaz Sharif was a convict and a proclaimed offender, the government must be stopped from issuing him passport and he should be arrested on his return to country.
PML-N supreme leader Nawaz Sharif, interior and foreign secretaries were made respondents in the petition.
