Shehbaz seeks tax collection report from FBR 

Newly-elected Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has sought a complete report from Federal Board of Revenue regarding tax collection, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

FBR Chairman Dr Muhammad Ashfaq held a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz on Friday. 

He gave briefing to the premier on current tax collection situation. 

On the other hand, the FBR has become active in collecting taxes from defaulters as the board has seized bank accounts of six defaulter companies.

The FBR made recovery to the tune of Rs50 million from the bank accounts of Ahsan Kamal Textile, Fateh Yarn Industries and Nasir Khurshid Packages Private Limited.
